To all students,

In response to the State of Emergency, classes at Kobe University will commence on May 7, and students should remain at home in principle and avoid going outside for unnecessary and non-urgent reasons. The aim of these measures is to prevent widespread novel coronavirus infection by reducing face-to-face contact to the upmost. We urge all students to behave mindfully and refrain from organizing parties and meals with friends at home, in lodgings, dormitories and of course, eating and drinking establishments, in order to avoid the three risk factors for infection (crowds, closed spaces and close contact).
