The Medical Check-up is divided into the following categories. Please follow the instructions listed under the category below that applies to you.
① New students in 2022 (undergraduate students, graduate students and research students etc. Also applies to those whose admission has been transferred to 2022 but does NOT include those who categories ②~④ apply to.)

Graduate students: 4/11(Mon)~4/14(Thurs)

3. Medical Check-up slip、Health Survey I, Health survey Ⅱ(These were either inserted or enclosed with your ‘New Student Handbook)
4. Urine sample test kit
5. Form for submitting Measles and Rubella certificates
② Health Sciences students in the Faculty of Medicine (2nd year and above), all students of the Graduate School of Health Sciences
Date:5/11(Wed)~5/12(Thurs)
Venue:Gymnasium (Myodani Campus)
The Student Section of the Academic Affairs Division (Graduate School of Health Sciences) will inform students their Medical Check-up date and time (based on year of study) and what they should bring etc.
③ 2nd year students of the Faculty of Oceanology, all students of the Faculty and Graduate School of Maritime Sciences

④ Medical students in the Faculty of Medicine (2nd year and above), all students of the Graduate School of Medicine

⑤ Students entering their final year of study in 2022 (e.g. 4th year undergraduates, 2nd year Master’s students, 3rd year PhD. students etc. Not including those who categories ②~④ above apply to.)

⑥ Those who entered Kobe University in 2020 but haven’t taken a Medical Check-up yet (i.e. those who didn’t take it between December 2020 to March 2021), or those who entered Kobe University in 2021 but were unable to enter Japan to take the Check-up.

For those receiving a chest X-ray:
You will have a chest X-ray as part of the check-up. Please make sure that you wear appropriate clothing:
- For the X-ray examination, you are required to wear a plain T-shirt.
- It is not possible to borrow a hospital gown. If necessary, please bring a jacket or something suitable to wear over your T-shirt.
- You should NOT wear a dress (or other clothing that covers both your upper and lower body) to the X-ray examination. Necklaces and jewelry are also NOT permitted.
- Please do not wear underwear with metal or plastic wires or components during the X-ray examination.
- If you have one, you can wear a T-shirt with pad insert during the examination.
