On July 16, Professor Maribel L. DIONISIO-SESE from the University of the Philippines Los Ba?os called on Kobe University Vice President TAMAKI Hisashi.

The following people attended the meeting:
Mabini De Guzman DIZON (associate professor at the College of Arts and Sciences) and two tutors for English teaching from the University of the Philippines Los Ba?os, as well as SHIRAI Yasuhito (the dean of the Graduate School of Agricultural Science) and KAWAKAMI Naoe (associate professor at the Global Education Center, Institute for Promotion of High Education) from Kobe University.

Shirai mentioned the more than 10-year-long relationship between the University of the Philippines Los Ba?os and Kobe University and the achievements of the inter-university exchange project. He also explained that the exchange programs contribute greatly to our students’ English learning.

Tamaki expressed his gratitude for the cooperation on academic exchange and for this visit.
Dionisio-Sese introduced the connections to Philippine high schools and extended an invitation to the University of the Philippines Los Ba?os.

Through this visit, it is hoped that academic exchanges between the two universities will continue to grow and develop in the future.
