Kobe University’s Executive Vice President TAMAKI Hisashi (the director of the Institute for Promoting International Partnerships) attended the 3rd Japan-India Universities Forum held in The Grand New Delhi hotel, New Delhi, India on October 19.
Kobe University’s Professor TOMINAGA Keisuke (the director of the Molecular Photoscience Research Center) was also present. The forum, entitled “Promotion of Japan-India brain circulation and utilization of its human resources,” brought together university leaders in Japan and India for discussions on expanding academic cooperation and common issues. It was attended by 43 Japanese and 36 Indian institutions.
In individual meetings held during the forum, the representatives of Kobe University met with those from six Indian institutions and exchanged opinions on future cooperation and the conclusion of academic cooperation agreements.
Through this forum, we hope to develop academic cooperation between Kobe University and universities in India.
