Kobe University and the World Health Organization Centre for Health Development (WHO Kobe Centre) will work together on a three-year joint research project to build a comprehensive “Kobe Model” of early detection and management for dementia. The project aims to reduce the social burden caused by dementia.
This project will be implemented by a collaborative research team with the support of Kobe city. The team will screen Kobe residents and create community programs to raise awareness about dementia in order to realize earlier detection and treatment of the disease.
