Kobe University aims to establish itself as a hub for the accumulation of world class knowledge. As part of our efforts, we set up the ‘Kobe University Strategic International Collaborative Research Grant’ in 2022. We strive to create and foster excellent international collaborative research projects by 1) allocating research incentives and 2) implementing a specific grant scheme for such projects.
Seven three-year projects have been started in 2022 using this grant scheme. Each of these projects aims to establish global research networks in their respective academic fields. The following article series will introduce these projects and related international activities. All project leaders hope to initiate and expand collaborations with overseas institutions.
